The Kansas City Robotics Foundation and two of our high school robotics teams, the Astromechs (FIRST Tech Challenge Team #3409 ), and the Cobalt Colts FTC #6547 are leading independent efforts to make and donate face shields and other personal protective equipment (PPE) used by essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic when regular PPE supplies are in short supply.
